What our associates are saying

Eden J., Manager Skilled Trades Program
I look to inspire and grow the next generation of Skilled Trades experts, providing associates a path for career growth and trades professionals a network of new talent. My role inspires me daily to help people continue to grow and develop at any age of life, in an area they may not have ever been given the opportunity to explore.

Benjamin C., Merchandising Service Associate
The Trades Program provided me with a great opportunity to advance myself professionally as an associate but also as a person. It opened doors for a bright and promising future that I would never have had the chance to do and make a better life for my family.
Benjamin C.
Merchandising Service Associate
Jacob D., Fulfillment Associate
I am always interested in continuing personal development, and consider myself a lifetime learner, so this program was a great opportunity to supplement some of the knowledge I have acquired in my year with Lowe’s. I plan to use this experience to further my career.

Track to the Trades

We developed Track to the Trades as a benefit offered to all associates. This program provides tuition-free education courses and upfront tuition funding for trade skill certifications. Courses are designed by IACET-accredited experts to build an industry-recognized skillset for participants.

This program also includes a pathway to certifications and licenses with OSHA-10, NATE RTW, and EPA-608. We also give you access to our nationwide contractor network so you can reach out to established pros to find opportunities.

Track to the Trades is a pre-apprentice development program. The program's intent is to start associates on a path to working in the trades. This is not a job placement program, and you are not guaranteed a job after completing the program. The training provided can make you more marketable and help you prepare for certifications in your desired field.
